+ Recovery is about so much more than getting clean and sober. We must find a new way to live +

Self-Care in Recovery

Addiction demanded that we continue to abuse drugs or alcohol at all costs.

This means we neglected our health in pursuit of the next drink, hit, pill, or fix.

Addiction became a way of life for us. We used substances to cope – even though many of our problems were caused by our addiction.

After months or years of seeking a chemical solution to our problems, it will take some time to learn how to take good care of yourself.

Daily Reprieve enforces structure and guidance while working with our residents to practice mental, physical  and spiritual fitness.

We enforce consistency and integrity.
These practices aid in the transition to living a

clean and sober, independent lifestyle.

Nicholas A. Fridd, 28

Daily Reprieve’s Flagship Sober Living Environment, “Nick’s House” is in memory of Nicholas Adam Fridd of Michigan, who passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 18, 2014, at the age of 28 years. His son lost his father and his parents lost their son. He was a very bright young man who had a beautiful future ahead of him. When he passed, he had a promising career as an Information Systems Tech. His memory, humor, joy, and spirit live on.

Every addiction case is different and should be handled with the utmost care and respect for the resident. At Nick’s House, we understand the struggle that’s associated with substance abuse and how difficult it is to seek help, so our resident works hand-in-hand with our patients to develop customized plans to which they agree.  We want to help you in any way we can.
